Final Thoughts

I enjoyed this project, but at the same time am relived that it is over.  IT was long and tedious but i prevailed and It really reinforced my knowledge of the research paper process.  At the same time i got to further explore my favorite pizza joint Crow Point.  I learn more than i thought i could have on the place and the people the work there. considering i have been a regular there my whole life.

Interview Process

Interviews are often more complicated than people think.  They involve asking specific questions to get you the information you desire.  You also want ask open ended questions so the person being interviewed can elaborate.  This way you may find out something you weren't even going to ask about that could be valuable.  you must be prepared for this though and be able to come up questions on the fly to dig deeper into an answer that interests you.

Iresearcher

Professor Williams provided us with samples of her essays that she completed in college on her many nights spent at the Hanover Bowladrome.  Mrs. Williams vividly describes various aspects such as smells, sounds, and ambiance that she experienced while at the bowling alley. Reading this essay made me think about my own experiences from my childhood of going to Bonkers, an indoor mini amusement park for children with my siblings and grandmother.  Mrs. Wiliams essay was very helpful and gave me a better understanding of how to write my own ethnography.

project site

I chose Crow Point Pizzeria located on 3A in my hometown of Hingham, MA.  I chose this location because it is a popular place in my town as well as my favorite place to eat other than my dads restaurant, Jamie's.  Crow Point also known as CP or just simply Crow is a rather small pizza/sub place but is always busy no matter what time you go in there.  The owners are always busy as bees behind the counter taking and making orders.  The buffalo chicken subs and calzones are what Crow is known for.  This pizza/sub joint should truly prove as a fun, interesting, and  convenient place for my site for this project.
